Where are you located?
113 Hargrove Road at the corner of Hargrove Road and Prince Avenue. We are in the Forest Lake community.
What should I wear?
Dress is generally very casual, so come as you are! You will see a variety of styles at Grace Presbyterian Church.
What will I experience in worship?
We belong to the Presbyterian Church, USA, and follow what may be described as a traditional order of worship. We use a printed worship bulletin and sing from hymnals, but within that framework, you will find creativity and variety in our worship. We are a singing congregation, and are led in our music by our choir. We observe communion each week, share our prayer concerns with one another, and warmly greet one another during the passing of the peace. In these ways, and many more, we seek to be an intentional community of believers, practicing our faith in our interactions with one another, in our worship, and in our engagement with the community and the world.
What do you provide for children during worship?
There are four places for our children during worship: 1. the Pew, worshiping with family; 2. the PrayGround– a designated space in the sanctuary for young children to read and/or do quiet activities; 3. the StoryPath– children, Pre-K to 2nd grade leave the sanctuary after Children’s Time for story and activity. The children are back in the sanctuary to receive weekly communion; 4. the Nursery is for infants to 3 years old.
