Grace Presbyterian’s Choir and Music Ministry

GPC’s choir – open to all interested high school/college students and adults – rehearses Wednesday nights in the choir room located behind the sanctuary. There is a group that rehearses Sunday morning’s, 10:30-11:00 in preparation for weekly worship services. Additionally, the choir provides music and worship leadership for seasons and services such as Advent, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Pentecost, and All Saints.

If you play an instrument and would like to play in accompaniment to worship or with the choir, please contact Leslie Poss: lposs@sheltonstate.edu.

*When in our music God is glorified, and adoration leaves no room for pride,
it is as though the whole creation cried, “Alleluia!”

In worship, music is not something only a few gifted people do; it’s an expression of joy for the entire congregation as we sing together great hymns of the faith old and new. In truth, there is no more special music than the music of the congregation.

How often, making music, we have found a new dimension in the world of sound,
as worship moved us to a more profound, “Alleluia!”

The music of Grace Presbyterian’s choir is both a gift from and an offering to God. We dedicate the gift of song to the glory of God.

Let every instrument be tuned for praise!
Let all rejoice who have a voice to raise!
And may God give us faith to sing always, “Alleluia! Amen.”
