World Communion Sunday with Rick Ufford-Chase
October 1, 2015, 4:02pm
The first Sunday in October is designated as World Communion Sunday, which celebrates our oneness in Christ with all our brothers and sisters around the world.
This year University Presbyterian Church is grateful to welcome Rick Ufford-Chase to lead our World Communion Education and Worship.
Sunday, Oct. 4 from 9:45-10:30 Rick will speak about his experience of living in the Multifaith "Community of Living Traditions." What does an authentic and bold Christian witness look like in the midst of an increasingly pluralistic society? How does building healthy relationships across faith boundaries have the power to transform our experience of faith? This group will meet in the Vallery-Winter Student Center.
During 11:00 worship Rick will preach from Luke 6: 27-31. His sermon is entitled: Integrity in Violent Times
