Festival of the Earth Sunday

UPC's annual Festival of the Earth Celebration is a little bit Earth Day and little bit Thanksgiving. It is a day to recognize the beauty of creation and to give thanks. It is a day to care for UPC’s flower beds and plantings.
There are many ways for you to participate:
Those who can work early to prepare the ground for the afternoon’s plantings please meet @9:30 AM.
There are many ways for you to participate:
- Bring a gift from the earth: autumn leaves, flowers, rocks, feathers, anything that represents the beauty of God's creation. We will carry these in at the beginning of worship to create a visual display.
- Bring a dish to share at the fellowship luncheon.
- Bring non-perishables for our Food Pantry: rice, dried beans, canned fruit and/or vegetable, peanut butter, canned meat.
- Bring a bag of dirt, winter kale, a tray of pansies, bales of pine straw.
- Bring gardening tools for digging and planting.

Dress for the day is VERY casual.
