Visit the National Museum for Peace and Justice
May 5, 2018, 6:07pm
Grace Presbyterian is planning two trips to Montgomery to view the National Museum for Peace and Justice
Two trips are available:
- Saturday, May 12
- Monday, May 14
For each trip, we would meet at the church to board the van, leave by 8:00 a.m. and return by 6:00 p.m. We will tour the memorial, take a lunch break, and tour the museum.
Combined Ticket costs for the memorial park and museum are: $10/adult. $7/seniors or students.
If you are considering bringing a child with you, please visit the links below and read more about what you will encounter. You know best if your child will be able to process this experience. The museum is an intense experience, with interactive videos and displays, and the memorial park is designed for serious reflection.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested, which date you would like to go, and how many people you would like to bring by emailing the church office at [email protected] or by calling 205-758-1193.
The National Memorial for Peace and Justice is the nation’s first memorial dedicated to the legacy of enslaved black people, people terrorized by lynching, African Americans humiliated by racial segregation and Jim Crow, and people of color burdened with contemporary presumptions of guilt and police violence.
